How can I communicate with the child I sponsor?

The children in D.R. Congo are French speaking so your letters will have to be translated into French. We can help with this and we ask you to send your letters to us for translation into French and onward delivery to your child in the Congo. We will send your original letter in English as well as the translated French version. Always quote your child’s unique reference number with any correspondence.

Initially we encourage you to send your child a personal or family photograph and a short letter of introduction. Sponsored children typically keep their sponsor’s photos and letters as treasured possessions.

You may write to your child as often as you like and we would also encourage your children, if you have any to write. Your words of encouragement and support will make a big difference to your sponsored child as they begin to appreciate that people do care for them.
