Is it possible to visit my sponsored child? Visits are always welcome. Children...their families...the entire community love to meet sponsors. And by visiting your sponsored child, you have the unique opportunity to see first hand exactly how your donations are being used. However, any planned travel should take into account any current Government advice. The U.K. Government are presently (January 2003) warning against any travel to the Congo, as it remains unsafe for travelers. To arrange a visit, call The Lily Foundation before your trip and if appropriate, we’ll discuss and co-ordinate the arrangements with our partners in the Congo.
